Pinterest Workout Day 2

Is it true? Did I actually do another Pinterest workout?

It's true! Today I did a 6 minute routine. I had already done a bunch of leg work and rode the stationary bike so I only did 1 rep of this. It was awesome!

You know when you hate an exercise and you can't wait for the set to be over? With this set, you don't have time to hate the exercise (not even burpee's, which I despise) because it's over so fast!

Work It!

I wanted to try a new workout yesterday but was stumped with what to do. Hey! How about I try one of the bazillion workouts I've pinned? This is not my favourite. 50 crunches? I can't do 50 crunches and I'm in pretty decent shape.
It took me about 10 minutes to do 1 set but I cut down on the reps on a few of the moves. I only did 25 crunches and 30 second plank. I did 50 calf raises but I will cut that down if I do this one again. My calves are really sore today, right at the top behind my knees. Not fun.

Throught the Grapevine

This is the colour I've been looking for for what seems like forever! It's a bright purple, not pastel, not too dark. Perfect for Spring and Summer when nature is at it's most vibrant. I actually pinned this polish from Wet n Wild after I bought and used it. I had to share with the Pinterest world! In the picture below you can also see my fabulous new floors!

Naughty or Nice

I pinned this nail colour after I picked it up on major discount today. It's from the Christmas 2010 collection which is why it was on sale. I bought it thinking it was black but it's actually really dark purple. OMG I love it! Just for fun I added a coat of LaRosa Crackle in Satin Smooth. It's a sexy bronze colour.

Gradient Nails

This trend has been all over Pinterest lately. I don't really have enough colours of the same family to do this, but I gave it a shot with all the purples I have. I like it! It's fun. Takes forever to do though because you're working with 2 coats of 5 different colours.

Fruit and Nut Bites

Another no bake snack while my kitchen is being destroyed :) Fruit and nuts are a great source of energy, healthy fats and natural sugars.
I used dried pineapple, dates and apricots. For the nut mixture I used a mixed nuts blends from the bulk section.
I don't have a food processor so I had to use the blender. I tried my Magic Bullet first but it was too small. These bites would have held together better if I could have gotten the fruit more broken down.
These are good, but not great.

No Bake Energy Bites

Being in the middle of a kitchen reno, the words "No Bake" jumped out at me. These energy bites are super simple and super yummy! I used dairy free chocolate chips and medium shred coconut because that's what I had on hand.

OMG These are so yummy! The girl liked them so much, she "snuck" 3 into her lunch for school :)
